The controller is not working at all...

Hi,

I executed your code (pid_result.py, fuzzy_result.py).
However, the controller is not working at all...
the pendulum does not stand straight as the demo.gif shows...

Do I have to do something more in your code??

PID controller cannot solve Pendulum-v0 on some initial states

Hi @1989Ryan , thanks for providing the useful repository!

I want to ask why your PID controller cannot sometimes solve Pendulum-v0 task.

  • Is that limitation of PID controller?
  • Can it be improved by tuning the PID gains?

I'm not familiar with classic control, so sorry if I have misunderstood something.

what is env.state?

I don't think there are attribute such as state in env(gym.make('Penulum-v0')).
