motionmate's Issues

Data import and export

I've been using https://gitlab.com/pardomi/paseo for many years but, I've always found the interface a little busy/confusing. Paseo exports data in *.db files vs *.csv files.

I looked at the Motionmate *.csv file thinking I might manually enter some of the data from Paseo and import. Am I correct in assuming the first column is a Unix Timestamp and the second column is the number of steps?

Metric and imperial measuring options

An option to default to km and cm (step width) or miles and inches would be welcomed in a future release. Thanks for the consideration.

Happy New Year!

The APP don't track the step all the time

Hi,

I tried to install your APP and Samsung health on the same phone last night. In the morning, I woke up and take the phone to go to work with me. Samsung health kept tracking the step while I was going to the company but your APP did not. I did not open the phone from last night until I was in the company.

Could you fix that problem?

Incorrect calendar

According to motionmate October 2023 has only 29 days.
Today is the 31. October 2023.
My clock and other calendar apps show the correct date.

Steps get carried over to the next day if phone is off at midnight

Hi! I've started using the app a few days ago and so far its great but I've noticed that if my phone is off at midnight the steps I did that day get added to the next day.

Here is an example, this is what I did on the last three days (all numbers are approximates, I don't have the real count for the first two days. I do know there were steps registered on the 08/02/22 tho):

  • 08/02/22 ~ 1.500 steps
  • 08/03/22 ~ 10.000 steps
  • 08/04/22 ~ 134 steps

But on the app it's recorded like this:

On Tuesday night I turned my phone off, when I opened it next day those 1.500 steps were set to "Wednesday". Just to make sure that was the cause, I didn't power if off on Wednesday night. Then it worked fine, it stopped counting and started from zero on Thursday.

I'm using the 1.3.3 release, downloaded from the IzzyOnDroid repo on the 08/02/22:

Many thanks for the app again!

First day of the week

Hi, I would like the calendar week to start on Monday, but I don't see such a setting. Is there a simple way to implement this?

[Feature request] Export/Import options

Greetings!
I see this app does almost everything I need it to do, but it doesn't provide any export or import options.
Would it be possible to add a csv export/import option in the future containing the dates with their steps and kilometers?
If yes, I'd suggest adding the possibility to export a specified range of dates/weeks/months/years as well.
