As a project member, I want a clear idea of the work entailed for phase 1 of the project.

Each user story should include

• A clear ‘user statement’ describing who benefits from a change, and a general description of what needs done
• A more specific description, potentially detailing possible approaches, or any additional details
• An acceptance criteria by which the issue can be easily evaluated

Acceptance Criteria:

• User stories entered for all aspects of phase 1, as described in the handout
  • User stories must be in the aforementioned form
  • User stories should be assigned to someone, where possible

As a project member, I want a clear description of what we’re doing here

We really need to know what we’re doing here. We have the UML Schema, but actually not necessarily a view of the bigger picture.

Acceptance Criteria:

• Created a description section in the website containing:
  • The purpose of the application
  • Entities we will be storing
  • Descriptions of relationships between entities

As a user, I want this application to actually show information.

To do that, we of course need data on this. That data, in turn, must come from somewhere.

Acceptance Criteria:

• Potential sources for information in all tables located and documented within this issue
  • Optionally, download the information, and begin looking into how it might be transformed into the appropriate form

As a project member, I want a clear description of what we’re doing here

To help validate the UML scheme (at a point where changes are easy), we need to know what we want to do with the database; what information will be going in and what information will be coming out.

Acceptance Criteria:

• Created a description section in the website containing:
  • The information to be extracted from the database
  • The information to be inserted or changed within the database

As a (just Keenan Jackson? I think) I want some schemas to satisfy some need I have for algebra-like database stuff

I personally don’t really understand the point of this, especially given the form. But it’s required. So we gotta

• Create an entry on the website containing schemas with primary keys underlined bolded and foreign keys identified in italics

As a user I want the website to correctly display summaries

• first 64 characters of a text document are displayed as a summary
• full document is rendered in the modal
