Have you enabled permission requirement? Its third option in editctext
image
just toggle from [-] to [+] for the ones you want to request specific permissions for users to be able to see/use them

Will add missing ones to docs, just for convenience, tho I would still recommend to just use ingame editor as that one will prevent issues from happening and will provide with all the options you can use.

I have not, I edit all my files via the .txt files, does this add something to the file? is so can it please be added to the docs!
All I see is the no permisson placeholder!
https://www.zrips.net/cmi/custom-text/

ive read over that page about 20 times now and was getting so frustrated why I couldnt see anything permission based on there!

Edit: it works! Thank god it was a docs issue and not technical! Ive spent, way way to long on this.

ALso just seen I can make a custom alias auto, like 90% of my alias are just to point to ctexts lol

Edit Edit: for anyone else finding this, not in the docs you can add <ReqPermission> to require permissions just after <AutoPage>.

Thanks for the easy fix!

I do all my holograms in-game, and portals, kits. But ctext is a differnt ballgame, I have a mamouth of guides and ive moved basically everything I can to do with text into ctext, so having a full editor is MUCH better, I even seperated it from CMI so its got its own Github, so other staff can work on updating guides and I can push/pull as needed, if we started editing in-game that means I then need to commit changes and push those up stream, bleh extra work!

One thing that is missing is a folder structure, shame we cant have ./staff/guide1.txt
