This is to allow the URL to be /booking-app, rather than /booking-app/public, I added some rewrite conditions to the .htaccess file. If there is a better or more conventional way of implementing this behavior, let me know.

I see now that I could've left it in 'public' and had some rewrite conditions to remove that from the URL (Laravel 5 docs showed me how). I will fix this in a future commit.
