are you using JavaScript or TypeScript?

In TS I am getting this error:

error: TS2345 [ERROR]: Argument of type 'string' is not assignable to parameter of type 'Payload'.
console.log(await create(header, "foo", key));

But I agree that it should throw in JS, as well.
