Twitter is a unique scraping experience in part because of the search limit imposed on the Twitter API. They have a whole system for how you're supposed to make an app/bot through their platform, use Tweepy, and get handed the amount of data they want in the way they like. That's fine, it's their website. But of course not everyone wants to go that route. Someday I hope this will contain a bunch of-- probably disparate, experimental, scattershot, and fun-- attempts to scrape twitter trying out some of the open-source tools available.
