How strange...
There is definitly something wrong with accents, but I don't get the exact same problem (only some html entities problem).
Can you tell me what browser you use and in which configuration your are:
- the notebook is in "markdown"
- the notebook is in "wysiwyg"
- the notebook is in "wysiwyg", but the notebook and the note were created in an older version of Jotter (< 0.4) ?
PS: I should perform a complete check on accents and special character everywhere in Jotter. I'll do it for the 0.5

The bug appears in chromium and firefox...
It appears in old notebooks and in the new one.
Even on a fresh new install.

Hello,
I had the same issue and it seems that the problem appears with a WYSIWYG notebook in safe mode.
To solve this problem I opened my notebook.json and changed the "safe" key from true to false.
I don't know exactly what is the interest of the safe mode but now it works fine for me. :)
