I'll make a fresh clone and install on both of my machines this afternoon and check whether things work.

I've just tried running the notebook, and can't run the cell to import the local code - the issue here is with the line:

from model_class2 import CountryModel

This refers to the file model_class2.py which doesn't exist. I expect that it should refer to model_class.py?

Yes, this must be another older mistake.

I realize the notebook module_class import does not work at all at the moment because it doesnt point to the right child directory.

A quick thought about this (and #8) - would it be better for now to just to amend the README to point towards the script in the covpol/ directory instead of the notebook in the root directory?

I made some minor changes in the most recent pull request but other than that I can confirm most works well for me

#25

I've not tried to run the more time intensive scripts, but all that I did run worked fine :-)
