pYIN is based on the Vamp plugin structure. From the documentation:

Every feature that is returned from a Vamp plugin has a time associated with it. This is the time at which
the feature is considered to “start”, as a fractional number of seconds since the start of the audio input.

In this case, it's weird.
The true onset and offset info is like below. Not my code above output.

At a quick glance you're mixing up a note and a feature. Also you're using code that is not part of LibPYIN, but the original pYIN C code, ane is not related to this repo. The documentation for that is linked above, so I'm closing the thread.
