Thank you for your interest in trying the library and for reporting the issue.
Usually, a geometry is None
when the code failed to construct a geometry from the info it had (which is not unusual with OpenStreetMap: many geometries there are invalid and I guess there is a lot of code behind to fix many kinds of issues).
I don't know if you saw any warning before seeing the GeoDataFrame? Otherwise, I will try on my side and go step by step to see what happened with those geometries (maybe not right away, bear with me, but I keep the tab open)

Indeed, I never tried with the regex, but we should make it work. I will try to have a look and see if it's possible.

I will make a release tomorrow morning so that it's easier to upgrade 💪

A little more context: I want to fetch the areas where I have no admin_level=7 areas to fill those gaps. They only exist as admin_level=6. However admin_level=6 has some geometry issues for me

Thanks for making the library I had great fun using it yesterday 🤗
I didn't get any warnings on that query.
However while working on this further I discovered that changing the regex to be not a range but just one admin level made it work for each of them alone. Just both at the same time seem to cause this.

It took a while before I took the time, but I think I got it!
Thank you for the feedback

Awesome thanks! Now I should get back to doing more with this 😄
