Yes, still get the error.
By the way IncludeLiterals=False not True will throw the exception, I modefied the code to reflect this change. Sorry for typo.

I haven't had a chance to look at this, but just for fun try defining the IncludeLiterals property after the Mask and Value properties as follows

exten:MaskedTextBox Mask=## /##/ #### Value={Binding Path=DateDue} IncludeLiterals=True/

Do you still get the error?
