Problem when killing linkchecker about linkchecker

This problem is already in the TODO list.

This is a Python problem. Python implements only a subset
of the Java threading interface which means you can not
stop or suspend threads.
What I am doing is a call to sys.exit(). There is a delay
when Python tries to stop all its threads, but I dont know
any other solution.
Perhaps the new Python 1.6 will have better threading support.

So I keep this bug report open until I know a better way
to support KeyboardInterrupt exceptions.

Python does not support stopping threads. Disable
threading and you can stop link checking with Ctrl-C.
