There is an extra final space at the end of the layout string you are trying to set.

Try using this (working) layout instead:

ctxTouchKeyboard.Layout = "1 2 3 4|||N 5 6 7|||N 8 9 .|||N 0 " & ChrW(&H21E6&) & "||B"

. . . without the extra space at the end of the string.

Yes, this is a problem with the layout parsing routine but I don't think this will be fixed soon (if at all) as it's very easy to workaround by being more careful with the layout string used.

Feel free to send a Pull Request if you need this sorted out ASAP e.g. if you are allowing user-defined layouts in your application or something along these lines where this bug can be fatal.
