In request body, thread check is user_logged_in, if yes then get Access Token and make audio request, You can write separate function by removing above steps. make sure you handle callback request properly via your own function.

How long does this command take?

Check auth should be near instant (grabbing a shared prefs value) unless your token has expired and needs a refresh--then it'll do a full update of token.

I just checked my production app and I have a ~100ms delay between before opening the recorder and the first write to my DataRequestBody.
