I've modified ag to default to the symbol at point, rather than adding a new command. Let me know how that works for you.
I'd be interested to hear why ag-project-at-point isn't useful for you. Is there any way I can make it better?

Works great, thanks for the fast response.
ag-project-at-point only searches in the Src directory, sometimes I want to search in Include too. Or even more levels down.
