I have test for Elasticsearch working on Travis. And maybe you could try newer release. Given there is no specifics around you issue and environment, I'm closing it

Hey, Alexander, have you found a solution to this problem? I just ran into it while migrating to CircleCI 2.0, and I suspect it is related to the docker container being on a remote machine instead of locally.

I have the same issue
But I solved it
in Dockerkit trait using default values to StartContainersTimeout and
StopContainersTimeout So can you override startAllOrFail() method and change default values.

I'm going to create a pull request to can change values of these variables
