It seems perfectly doable: https://github.com/docker-java/docker-java/blob/419900d074e6d9754dcd5c6290d93c3350bab010/src/main/java/com/github/dockerjava/core/command/BuildImageCmdImpl.java#L63
new File(getClass().getClassLoader().getResource("...").toUri())
should do the job.

Working with Dockerfile is not the purpose of this library. As pointed, you can do it directly through docker-java implementation. Closing...
