Tabbed interface IE8 and IE7 about wet-boew

Please retest. A hanging comma was found in settings.js which was causing errors in IE's parser and likely was interrupting the rendering of the tabs.

The hanging comma in setting.js could be the culprit in both cases (since it can interrupt script execution in IE8) so please get a copy of the latest code and retest. In the case of tabs, the interruption in the script execution would have prevented the display:none applied to the tab panels from being overriden. This has since been changed where the panels are visible when JavaScript is disabled or interrupted.

Still not working in IE8 or IE7.
No errors are showing up in the scripting console.

Out of curiosity I refreshed the page several times as per what mankev did in Issue #55 IE Still having problems with Mega Menu and found that the page will load fine once out of every 10 refreshes. I think his Mega Menu issue and the Tabbed Interface issue might be linked.

It's weird you are getting those results with IE7. I have pure IE7 on my work computer and refresh it over and over and no matter what I do I can't get it to fail for either the mega menu or the tabbed interface. I was using http://wet-boew.github.com/wet-boew/demos/tabs/tabs-eng.html for the testing. Are you testing on the GitHub working examples or locally? Are you by chance testing with IE8 in IE7 mode when you get the IE7 issues?

My apollogies. I should have been clear that I am using IE7 within IE8. We are not permitted to have pure IE7 on our computers. And I am using the demo pages on github.

I don't get any content in the tab DIVs in IE8. No script errors, but here is a Fiddler2 dump to show the different requests between the browsers.

Could someone please retest this? It should now be fixed by #58 submitted by @mankev.

Will test on pure IE8 once I get back into the office tomorrow morning.

Tested in IE8 and it looks like this issue has been resolved.
