@sideshowbarker, is the idea that all tests under 2dcontext should be generated? There are a bunch in addition to this which are not. git grep -L 'This test has been generated by tools/gentest.py' -- '*.ht*' says:

I don’t know but I vaguely recall there are some that aren’t generated

There are a bunch in addition to this which are not.

OK yeah I guess that’s intentional but I don’t know myself why those aren’t generated.

I’ve never myself actually worked on the 2dcontext tests themselves — only on the related infra stuff for them. I don’t know who these days is most familiar with the tests themselves
