Due to the way the invoicing list versus the individual invoice return system works, if you want to update invoice details when the invoices were returned from the list you need to follow the work-around at #37

However, if you know the invoice number or invoice ID, you should really be returning it directly with gateway.Invoice.find(invoice_number) -- this will return the full invoice details.

I will keep this issue open for a better implementation dealing with summary versus detail records in the future.
