Update: I tried forcing the change in MacOS preferences, but English isn't even listed as a compatible language.

Hmm. How did it become German? Shouldn't it be Korean?

(I mean that's what is listed as System Default for you, but I see the UI seems English otherwise. Weird).

This is how it should look like (if the System is English) by default:

But if the System has some other language then English, then English should be listed among available languages:

For you it seems like something is not right as the System Default is Korean, but the UI is in English (probably because you changed to Korean but did not reboot yet) - probably because of this English is not listed?

I agree with you, but I've never spoken anything other than English. Never set my computer to anything other than English. This happened when I launched the app. It said I had an update, so I updated. Then it was all in German. I've never touched language settings.

I made sure everything is set to english on my machine (it always has been), and I rebooted my machine. Still Better Display is in German. 😂

To clarify. I never set a language for Better Display. I went to languages and saw that it's possible to customize the language per app. That's when I saw that English wasn't even an option. But I didn't set it to any language.

I see. Honestly I am not sure what could be the issue. The app itself does not specify it's language (except that English is the default), localization language selection is a system feature, so I am not sure why this is happening. I am not sure why German comes up if the System thinks it should be in Korean - but since you speak English, both Korean and German seems to be a wrong. Weird. 🫨

If you tried changing the language for other apps, do you see Korean as system default as well?

Theoretically you can change an app's language using the AppleLanguages using defaults write in Terminal, maybe setting it to en, would work? I'll check this and respond back.
