Hi Filippo,

That line merely opens the image (i.e. returns a PIL Image object); it doesn't display it. That particular example is simply intended to demonstrate how to transfer captures over a network socket. What the server end does with those images is up to the user. If you want to show the images, you can call the show() method on the result Image object, but be aware that will open up a separate window for each image transferred so you'll likely find your desktop rapidly spammed with windows!

Yes It's True !
I've tried to use the show() method and I've seen an own popUp for all single image.
Do you know if there is a strategy to see the stream of images on a single window ? I'm tring to use SimpleCV but I don't solve the issue yet

You probably want to have a look at some sort of GUI framework for this. Personally I favour Qt, but it's quite heavyweight and probably rather complex for your requirements. I suspect pygame might be a better choice in your case.
