IMO it is better not to blur anything, many people will verify PGP for the first time following those instructions, and blurring some information will intimidate them.

It incentives them to check the text instead of the fingerprint on the picture. So if it will change in the future we do not have to regenerate all pictures.

I agree with that, however I think people when verifying like to compare what they get to pictures.

I don't think that changing PGP would happen often.
