FY: you can bootstrap it by issuing: angular.bootstrap(document, ['saltui']);

Unfortunately there is nothing to have a go with yet. This project is not even pre-alpha. :-) Everything checked in thus far has been strictly exploratory or proof-of-concept. That said, I should have the basics of a project structure and some baseline working functionality (though still pre-alpha) in place by the end of the week. With any luck we should have the first release sometime around the week after that (plus or minus holiday interruptions).

Hello,
Can I help to speed this up ?
Let me know !

My apologies for the lack of an update. I was unexpectedly sidetracked after the holidays.
I have pushed several changes which make up the basic app layout. I need to move the index and login page from salt-api into this project and then I can announce the project (officially). Feedback is greatly welcome. :)

It looks quite interesting and close. I have grasped the big picture but feel little pieces of the puzzle are still missing there and there. I hope you manage to publish them quickly so I could jump and help. Anyhow, let me know if you need a hand. Cheers.

I pushed several changes today which finish the basic functional layout. There are still several rough edges (models need to be able to update themselves, the execution & results elements aren't fully fleshed out, the minions elements aren't fully operational). I'll try to tackle some of those this weekend. Note, you'll need to run salt-api from the latest Git.
@PierreR I'm interested in your impressions thus far and what puzzle pieces you feel are still missing. If you're interested in jumping in, let me know how/where I can help.

One of my main concern (the integration of the login process into salt-ui) has been dealt with.
Other pieces that I feel are missing:
- View minion-detail
- Implement Execute and view results
- Load information about minion and help (via xhr) after login and not before
- Improve the bindings to documentation in the exec screen
- Some css styling (for instance modal windows)
I guess I need to wait for a few commits more before it reaches a functional state. If you think some immediate help is valuable, let me know.

I think you have a good understanding of where things are. Note, that at this point I am (almost) completely ignoring the visual representation and just focusing on basic functionality and getting the app structure in place. I pushed changes that address some of those outstanding issues; I'm working on the execution/results component now.
Please do feel free to jump in. This project won't amount to anything without user input. If you see something that is missing or something that can be improved on, I am all ears. I'm excited that you're excited. :)

This repo is deprecated and archived. Therefore, this issue is now closed. Thank you.
