Salt API connection failed Salt return HTTP code 503 about salt-api

503 is when the salt-master daemon is unavailable. Try restarting the salt-master daemon.

Also, this repo has been end-of-lifed. If the above doesn't fix the problem please open an issue on the main Salt repository.

@ppbibo try to restart both salt-master and salt-api daemons. If that does not fix it perhaps there is a bug with the test of if the salt-master daemon is running. That code is here:

Also when you restart the daemons, please double check that the processes are actually stopped. Sometimes there is a bug in the init script and the processes is not stopped.
