You need to make a common config.js file and include that in both your frisby tests.

Problem is that the token changes all the time, it is generated at
runtime. A config file would be the only option?

I face the exact same issue with my tests as well.

I think you got undefined is because all tests are executed in async.
So the function returns right away and by then you haven't got the token yet.

Have you found a good way to do this? I'm thinking of just going to create a loggedIn method in my config that calls my login api if it doesn't have a token before executing the toss.

loggedin = config.login
loggedin.then(test.toss);

But it would be nicer if there was a way to run a indivisual test sync
