This error appear currently at sites with return Origin header in response
I have recently start to update functionality for extension. Want to add option page and allow edit response&request headers. But not ready yet to release that functionality. Hope will finish and test it in nearest 2 weeks.

also breaks pages that worked before the extension is enabled
I have recently meat such "bug" when tried to login into vimeo.com with enabled extension, guess reason is that I force rewrite some headers. So here have to be possibility to use overwritten header option or use header from server...

Same here. I use this in developing a frontend on localhost with the actual API server as backend. The API itself does set a CORS-header, but a very restrictive one.

I have to have this enabled on localhost and i have to have this disabled on the "actual" site. Otherwise i get errors.

It would be most convenient, if i could just keep this extension running full time.
