Hi @vdauwera Somehow I missed your issue till now. Sorry for taking so long to respond.

I recommend creating a yml file for your monitoring stack Prometheus, Grafana, etc. Next, I would create a yml for each service you want to monitor like hub-exporter and git-hub-exporter. This way your monitoring stack stays running even when making updates to either of the services.

In order to connect the exporters to the monitoring stack you just need to ensure that you connect the service to the same network as Prometheus is running on. Second, you should update the prometheus.yml file and add the additional targets for each service. I run this for our demo system as well as a couple customers and it works quite well.

Let me know if you have any questions setting this up. At the same time I will look for some example code.
