The mysql password is not found even though I am passing the correct one to the tool via -p option about thc-hydra

I guess its a bug. I did not write the module, so I do not know what the issue is. And as I will not have access to your 172.16.x.x machine, I can not debug it.
If you have the time, please debug and send a fix.

Neither did I and I am brand new to Hydra so I don't know where to even
begin looking...:) Is there a source file that I should be looking at
or are there any debug recommendations or specific tests that you want
me to run? I am under the gun to produce some results at work so I
won't get to it right away but I can try something more specific later
when I have time if you would like.
