What version of docsify-katex
are you using?

I tested your example with the latest release on GitHub.

I am using the latest version of Katex. I downloaded the latest 4 days ago. Below are a couple screenshots of how it is working. Rendering is not consistent.

I cannot reproduce on my laptop, could you please provide your repository or the complete markdown file so I can find out the exact problem you are facing?

The zip file attached has the 2 files in it. The HTML is linked to all local packages that I have installed on that machine. Just look to make sure there are no mistakes in it.
Also, I just downloaded the latest version docsify-katex.min.js from the dist folder and still get the random * behaivor.

It ended up being an out of date version of Docsify was conflicting with Docsify-katex
Updating the Docsify file fixed the issue. This website is in an isolated environment, so I can't pull always updated versions...
