Great that you're interested in this!

The code in this repo is some kind of stub for future development. The active development is at the moment done in Frescobaldi. Do you use that?

What Peter means is that he has started developing a MusicXML export in Frescobaldi. You can try out his current success with the development version of Frescobaldi (i.e. running it from its Git repository (https://github.com/wbsoft/frescobaldi).

The interesting code is in the frescobaldi_app/file_export/ and ly/musicxml folders.
Maybe you want to have a look at those.
Surely any assistance would be helpful.

Yes I use frescobaldi, but as GUI for composing.
Nice to see ideas going further on!
It's always very exciting share free code and try to dev some other ideas.

  should/can be used for general discussion on the xml subject
• https://github.com/PeterBjuhr/frescobaldi
  should be restricted for discussion of actual current development of xml features
• https://github.com/wbsoft/frescobaldi
  generally the first place to go
