Selecting a complete entry does not delete the triggering keyword about cmp-tabnine

Not sure this is a TabNine issue.
Does this happen with other sources?
also, can you try adding the following to your configuration:

confirmation = {                                            
  default_behavior = cmp.ConfirmBehavior.Replace,           
},

This doesn't happen with other sources, and tabnine only has this exception in markdown files.

(Currently I only get this exception in markdown files)

I can't reproduce.
