Katon breaking MAMP hosts about katon

Here's just a guess.
MAMP PRO must be using port 80 and katon uses it as well. What kind of PHP server are you using with MAMP PRO (Symfony, ...)?

Sorry, I forgot to mention it before... I tried changing MAMP's default port to 8888 and didn't succeed as well.
I am testing with a simpe wordpress site!

Sorry, I don't think you'll be able to do it with katon.
Right now, katon only work with servers that you start/stop using a command-line (like symfony).

This may change in the future.

Actually, I am not trying to use katon to start my wordpress site. I am using it in a project that runs with grunt, but after I installed Katon all the hosts created on MAMP has stopped working.

Misunderstood your comment, sorry. Could you please run tail -f ~/.katon/daemon.log and make a request to local.example.com?

Also, if you go to local.example.com:8888 does it work?

If you need port 80, you can try hotel. It's a new project that plays nicer with Apache/MAMP.
