That's a very good question. I think we should move Twig-extensions to become more Twig-contrib where we would accept almost any contributions. It would act more as a central repository for Twig extensions contributed by anyone. The biggest question is: who is reviewing the code (as we should ensure that the contributions are good enough). We should probably write a guide about how to write a "good" extension (docs, tests, CS, ...) as well.

So, if we go down this road (and I think it is reasonable), I'd like to get more people on board to help me review the PR. That could be the first repo to migrate to the Twig organization (https://github.com/twigphp) I create a while ago.
