Yup, Dave and I have been trying to figure out a way to do this and make it look good. It's actually turning out to be harder than we thought.

We can do it with pseudo classes but it's hard to make them have the same gradient and shadow as the rest of the button.

Dave and I can take another hard look at it though.

Arrow buttons will be clutch. Let's make it happen somehow.

mmk so I think amended the wrong commit with this issue # :/ but... I just added arrow buttons that look much better than past explorations. They may need a few tweaks but this gets us much further than we were.

Out of curiosity – why are our bar-top buttons outdented, instead of indented (like on ios)?

No joke. I think they're basically perfect as far as I can tell. @connors - if you think they're ready, I do. They look solid.

That said, we should come up with a solid answer for @fat's question. I think they're fine, but we should have some solid reasoning :)

There are really only two reasons. 1. They are more inline with some of the new iOS 6 buttons. An example is the Podcasts app. 2. They feel like we could more easily adjust them to work for other platforms.
