For the time being -- these are our docs: http://twitter.github.com/bootstrap
If you're looking for something more explicit/technical -- that doesn't exist at present.

Inspecting the page helps a lot.
That is, except for the fluid layout, which has neither specific documentation nor examples.
I found that after adding a div
with width: 100%
inside the div.content
basically everything that works in the fixed layout just works inside this new div
. Is this what you (authors) had in mind?

What do you guys think about using something like Docco? Would seeing the source be helpful?

I just checked it out, it would be helpful if it was organized right. The biggest issue I had was not knowing how you intended elements to be used. Things like do inputs NEED to be in fieldsets, what is the layout class used for, what is the column class used for (I add/remove it nothing changes). Again maybe I'm to much of noob and I wasn't the intended audience for this, BUT I did just implement it or an internal project to spruce up the UI. Everyone loves it, so for that THANKS, it just took a few days of firebug to figure out what the hell I has copying and adjusting.

Sure that makes sense -- I'm towards something like the github wiki now. Mark and I will talk it over though today and figure out the best plan of attack :)

One of the sample would be the fluid layout doesn't works well with the grids, those {clear:both} made the all layout being stacked below left sidebar, so i have to override some values for the fluid layout to remove all the clear properties.
But my point is, it might be wise to not yet publish these kind of feature on the docs while the user can occur things like i was.

Going to close this issue out—we've got continual improvements coming with each version. As we update sections, we'll add more details on the markup and how to use. With the new javascript plugins coming in 1.3, we'll have even more stuff for developers to play with.
Feel free to update this as we go if you have specific needs for docs and we can try to prioritize.
Thanks!
