are you using the standalone, or running as a max patch? i can't reproduce this problem on my end.

running as max patch. i noticed it has to do with CoreAudio Airplay, because when i disconnect my wi-fi (so that CoreAudio Airplay is not listed) it displays correctly. no biggie

is there any kind of logic as to which name is actually displayed? eg. always the name 2 lower on the list.

when the name displays incorrectly, does it function per the actual selection, or the displayed name?

finally - after you disconnect the wifi, does every selection work correctly?

doesn't seem to be any pattern or logic.

yes functions per actual selection- only a graphical error

just None and CoreAudio output. soundflower and ad_rewire still don't display correctly when selected. i should mention in max6 i get this behavior whether on wi-fi or not. i know mlrv is best with max 5, but CoreAudio Airplay has never appeared as an option in max6 (only appears in max5) so in this case i thought i'd test it.
