It seems the culprit is likely the current version of bpython as evidenced here: bpython/bpython#574, and does not present itself if bpython is launched via bpython-curses
.

Hmm interesting. The version of bpython
I used for the graphic must have predated this, but now I'm observing the same glitch. I think this is a bpython
issue and not a tqdm
one - let me know if you find a work-around (something we can implement in tqdm
, not involving bpython-curses
), though.
