I think Unity just doesn't send touch events to web player.
There was a discussion lately where a js -> tuio bridge was suggested: https://github.com/InteractiveLab/TouchScript/issues/38

I proposed the tuio bridge for a mac user. As far as i know, you need to use a tuio capable screen if you want to do multitouch on osx.
If you are on windows, it might be possible to capture the "native" touch events from the browser (in firefox and IE at least), and send them to touchscript via the javascript to unity interface.

But one thing is strange: In my own program, scale gesture works in Browser, but I don't see the touch debugger points. So it seems that there's no basic problem with browser and touchscript.

sorry, if this is obvious, but are you sure it's not the browser that is reacting to the touch events and scaling the whole page independently of touchscript and unity?

Do the debugger points appear if you compile the project for desktop?
