I've faced this too. In my case, the problem is because of ViewPager.setPageMargin() method.
Whenever i comment that line, everything works fine. but if i set a PageMargin on ViewPager, when i go back to the first fragment, Indicator shows that it's the second.

I'm using the latest 4.1.2 version of the library.

Thank you so much, @Nevercom .... ViewPager.setPageMargin() this is the only issue, i remove it and everything is working fine now. but what to do if i need some margin to viewpager?
