I'll write a native client for OS X, since the python client is horrible. It'll be available through homebrew.

@mfender7 I'm not aware of any immediate plans for the existing clients, as they install quite easily using the respective package managers. I know it wouldn't make sense for the npm client, but maybe that's an option for the other ones though - I'm not familiar with the ecosystems enough.

@Leandros let us know how it goes, and if you want to create it under https://github.com/tldr-pages so it lives with the other clients. The Python client is in its early days though, so I'm sure any constructive criticism & PRs are welcome.

@rprieto: It works. Only the string parsing is missing. I'll hopefully finish it tomorrow.
My only concern with the python client is the formatting, especially when used on OS X with a custom terminal theme.

@rprieto So, I've finished the basic implementation of tldr in c++ now. I think the formatting is pretty neat and should work, due to using ansi codes, in every terminal and with every color scheme. You can find it here: https://github.com/Leandros/tldr-cpp-client

We could merge it into the tldr-pages organization, and I can submit it to homebrew using the official repository.

Nice one @Leandros, looks great. If you want to transfer the repo to https://github.com/tldr-pages I'll give you admin rights over there.

@rprieto: Sure, let's do it.

It all looks good!

Let's close this issue. @mfender7 the magic is happening over there: https://github.com/tldr-pages/homebrew-tldr
