Ah, I think I know what you mean — it's the bit where the notes and calendar and whatnot tabs are hiding. I admit it's one of those things I've considered but somehow never managed to implement it, so thanks for the FR.

I'm in the midst of exams now, but the basic implementation (with Style Settings) should be done in a week to a week and a half.

Your alternative proposal is quite interesting but would be a bit more technically challenging to implement — I'll think about how that can be done too as an option 👍

I was just about to raise the same issue. Sidebars become ever more useful with the new features in 0.15. It's much more important to have quick access to tabs.

Ooh I haven't realised 0.15 had features re: tabs! 👀 is there something I can learn (and steal for my workflow)? 😜

The option to always show sidebar tabs should be up soon, the code's been done since Thursday actually but I just wanted to see how I can put in more options and catch any new 0.15 things I haven't caught. I intend to publish Willemstad 0.5.3 in time for it to slip in this week's Obsidian Roundup, so expect an update no later than Thursday (early Friday for you on the other side of the world @kmaustral ) 👍

This new feature works very well with Workspaces Plus. Every project space can have its own dashboard in the sidebar. If you pin it, then it can be used to navigate through relevant pages and is easily hidden and revealed with a hotkey.

Sidebar tab panes are now open by default.
