Are you using the internal MQTT server? How many esp32? I have about 1% system load with 2 esp32.

Could also be because no filters are used, then there is a lot of data to a lot of devices. But I don't know how to reduce this.

• Used an sep. MQTT server (iobroker).
• 3 ESPs
• Filters are set at the ESPs - so only known devices are transferred to MQTT

I can do a sep. test with the internal MQTT server. Just let me know.

I'll add a summary of the state updates every 15 seconds. Maybe this will reduce the system load. If that doesn't bring any improvement. Let's try the same thing directly behind the mqtt client. But that will have to wait until next weekend.

When we have the problem under control, I'll make the delay configurable.

In the next version I will try to reduce the system load by collecting the mqtt messages for 5 seconds.

Seems to be much better.
Trying with 1 ESP and system load is very good.

I‘ll keep an eye on it and using more ESPs during the day

Increased up to 3 ESPs and 2 Apple devices …. still working good
