Okey. Are you starting the engine somehow when you are running you model directly in FG?

I have set the running type as true in the set file.
When running sitl, this results in the aircraft pitching up excessively and then down to end up crashing. The thrust value in GCS is 0%.

Are you able to publish your modified model on github?

Or you can look in run_FG.py script - there are lots of parameters which we are using to start FG. Maybe some of then have impact to your engine.

Here is the folder containing all the files:
custom.zip

It includes:

1. custom.xml - aero model file which is referenced in the set file.
2. Direct.xml - Thruster file, referenced in custom.xml.
3. Engine.xml, referenced in custom.xml.
4. fouga.ac - geometry file which is referenced in models/Rascal110.xml.
5. rascal.json - this file is unmodified from the original rascal file.
6. Rascal110-JSBSim-set.xml - main model file referenced in the rascal.json file.

That issue seems do not be relevant to PX4-FlightGear-bridge it should be resolved on some JSBSim forum or documentation.
