In general, a lot of gems use the MIT license

There is a licence in there already (in COPYING.txt).

Need to add a line to your gemspec to set the license. :)

I'm going to loop back around and send PRs to the repos I put the issues
on. Should be this weekend sometime. if you want to wait for that, it is
cool. This is more of an external person's need, so it isn't essential to
have you spend time on it now.
