You could try switching your Oven on and starting a real program to see whether that sorts our the Home Connect server state. You could also try registering a new Client ID (and updating this plugin's config.json to use it).

If neither of those sort it out then the only thing I can suggest is to contact the Home Connect support.

There isn't anything that I can do to fix it. This plugin is reporting whatever the Home Connect API tells it.

Are you absolutely certain that a program wasn't started at 6:11:28 PM?
What does the official Home Connect app show?

Those lines in the log are only generated in response to events being reported by the Home Connect server. They are not generated by this plugin unless it receives the corresponding event - a separate event for each line. There isn't much the plugin can do if the Home Connect API is providing incorrect information...

If you are absolutely sure that the Oven didn't have a program running then please run Homebridge with the -D option to enable additional debug output in the log.

Yep, the official app says turned off. Homekit app says turned off, yet Syslog is going strong (I am actively checking it). Keep in mind that 6:32 is actually current time - I just have never fixed a +1 hour difference.

This plugin creates separate characteristics for the Oven power, and to show whether the Oven is active (running a program). I suspect that you are only looking at the power Switch within Apple's Home app. To see the Active status and the program remaining time you will need to use a third-party HomeKit app, such as Elgato's Eve which is free.

As I said, this looks like a bug in the Home Connect server. For some reason it thinks a program is still running even though the oven is reporting that the oven is off. The log shows that the plugin is receiving events from the Home Connect server with the program remaining time countdown.

If you run Homebridge with the -D flag you will see additional debug in the log showing the events that the plugin is receiving.

You're right. It shows it's on on Topbottom heading. Yet it's off...

Well to be honest I just do "service homebridge restart". I've setup it long time ago so I don't even know where the -D goes into the way I use it ;-)

Ok, it seems that both dishwasher and coffee machine are responsive but oven not so much. It registers some stuff in 1-3 seconds, but right now even tho I've turned it off, it still says it's on. Must be API. I've seen delays with IFTTT for Oven a lot and that's why I gave up with IFTTT

This is entirely as expected. Quoting from the README for this plugin...

No Control of Ovens, Hobs, or Fridge-Freezers

The Home Connect Developer Agreement says (in section 7):

Certain additional permissions to those specified at: https://developer.home-connect.com/docs/authorization/scope may be granted to Clients of selected Users upon an individual check by HC and upon agreement of a separate partner agreement between the Parties, which is based on this Agreement.

This is required for the Hob-Control, Oven-Control, and FridgeFreezer-Images scopes. Additionally, the appliance simulator disallows CookProcessor-Control and FridgeFreezer-Control. These scopes are therefore not supported by this plugin. Control of these appliances is limited to just power on/off (where supported by the Home Connect API), read-only status, and notification events.

IFTTT Webhooks (e.g. via homebridge-ifttt) can be used to control these appliances.

I saw that in README, but not sure what it means? Does it mean I can clicking somewhere (where?) and get this approved or something that is out of control?

I mean would I need to contact HC development team and ask for approval for it to work with your plugin? Won't they ban me?

It means that only approved applications can control Oven or Hob appliances (or retrieve images from FridgeFreezer cameras).

It is unlikely that this permission will be granted to individuals using the Home Connect API since the Home Connect Developer Agreement also says:

2.1 This Agreement shall only apply to business Users. HC will not conclude any agreements based on these provisions with consumers within the meaning of Section 13 of the German Civil Code (Bürgerliches Gesetzbuch, “BGB”).

I have contacted Home Connect developer support to ask about this, but have not yet received a response.
