I tried enabling plugins and experimental canvas features and this seemed to have no effect. However, it's unclear whether or not windows invoked from a window with these features enabled (such as video chat windows in this case) also have the same features enabled

IDK if related to this, but the chat pop-out button doesn't work either

Window to window communication doesn't seem to work through the standard
browser mechanisms.

- Hide Google app drawer+notification bell in upper right
