I'm not sure that this is how it's setup - I think I may have matched the minor to aces' major - not sure anymore.

However you can run the update script and see if you get different results.
If yes, run npm test to manually inspect that it still works (you should see warning indicators).
If yes PR with the updated code.

So I'm not pinning to ace versions, but when I run update after they had a minor release, I'll bump brace's minor version as well.
