Thinstation 5.2: tail doesn't respond to ctrl-C about thinstation

Sorry, I meant: hitting ctrl-c in the shell after doin the above doesn't do
anything. Iow: there is no way to get back to the shell (ctrl-Z maybe, but
I haven't tried)
